Calibash 2025 Rescheduled Amid Ongoing Los Angeles Wildfires

Los Angeles, California (January 15, 2025)- The highly anticipated Calibash concert, initially slated for January 18 at Crypto.com Arena, has been rescheduled due to the ongoing wildfires devastating Los Angeles. The event, presented by SBS Los Angeles, Mega 96.3FM, and 97.9FM La Raza, will now take place on Friday, March 7, 2025.
The concert will feature an exciting lineup of confirmed artists, including Maluma, Wisin, Xavi, Manuel Turizo, Emilia, Kapo, and Alex Sensation. Fans who previously purchased tickets for the January 18 show can use them to attend the rescheduled event in March.
In a statement shared on Instagram on January 14, Mega 96.3FM expressed the impact the tragic wildfires have had on the Los Angeles community, saying, “The devastation our Los Angeles community has suffered resonates deeply with all of us at Mega 96.3FM. This decision has not been easy, but we recognize the need to focus on the well-being of our community during these difficult times. Stay safe.”
With wildfires still raging across the region, organizers of Calibash have announced that they will be making donations to support wildfire relief efforts in Los Angeles. As of the most recent reports, the city has tragically experienced 24 deaths, nearly 100,000 people under evacuation orders, and more than 12,000 structures destroyed due to the fires.
To further assist in recovery efforts, SBS Los Angeles confirmed that a portion of the proceeds from Calibash 2025 will be allocated to help those affected by the ongoing devastation. A statement from SBS emphasized their commitment to using the event as a means to support the local community, saying, “In addition to our immediate community relief efforts, SBS will be utilizing a percentage of the proceeds from Calibash to further assist and support those affected by the devastation.
