Los Angeles, California (April 7, 2025)- After a two-year wait, the K-pop world is buzzing once again—Xikers has returned, complete and stronger than ever. The 10-member boy group under KQ Entertainment made their much-anticipated comeback with the release of their fifth mini album, House of Tricky: Spur, on April 5. It’s a landmark moment for the group, not only because of the upgraded musical identity they showcase but also because it marks the long-awaited return of member Jong-hoon, who had been on hiatus due to a knee injury sustained just months after their 2023 debut.

Performing for the first time in two years as a full team, Xikers brought their signature explosive energy to the stage during a showcase at Ilchi Art Hall in Seoul. The group unveiled House of Tricky: Spur, the latest chapter in their ongoing conceptual series, which has been building steadily since their debut. With this release, the group reaffirms their identity as top performers of K-pop’s fifth generation, setting the tone for a bold and stimulating 2025.

The title track “Breathe” is a hard-hitting trap anthem that speaks to resilience and survival. With sharp choreography centered around the theme of breath, the performance pulses with life—raw, intense, and meticulously executed. According to member Se-eun, the song’s message is about thriving even in the harshest conditions. “The harsh environment is indeed our home ground,” he shared, hinting at the group’s journey of overcoming setbacks and pushing boundaries.

“Breathe” also stands out as a lyrical collaboration between members Min-jae, Su-min, and Ye-chan, who infused the track—and the entire album—with emotional authenticity and the group’s distinct musical DNA.

As Jun-min aptly described, the keyword behind this album is “spur”—a metaphor for stimulation and momentum. Whether it’s reigniting the flame of passion or heating up a calm existence, Xikers aims to be the catalyst that stirs emotions and inspires action.

The album itself is a five-track showcase of their musical versatility, including the energetic “Rock Your Body,” the mysterious “You Hide We Seek,” the dreamy “Highway,” and the whimsical “Roller Coaster.” Each track offers a different flavor, but together they build a cohesive, high-octane soundscape that highlights Xikers’ growth and vocal dynamism.

Perhaps the most emotional highlight of this comeback is Jong-hoon’s return. “I’m very happy to be welcomed back,” he said during the Q&A session. “We’re finally 10 again.” His recovery and re-entry into the team was met with excitement from fans, and members alike expressed gratitude and joy over performing as a full unit.

“There’s a big difference when we perform as nine members compared to when we perform as 10,” noted Jun-min. “The energy is definitely stronger when we’re complete.” Hunter added that fans will find hidden references to “breath” in the choreography, making each performance a layered experience for viewers to explore.

With House of Tricky: Spur now in the world, Xikers isn’t slowing down. In fact, they’re gearing up for their second world tour, Road to XY: Enter the Gate, which kicks off on May 3 in Seoul at the Yes24 Live Hall. The tour promises to connect them with their global fanbase, Roady, and showcase the evolution they’ve undergone both musically and personally.

“We’ve built confidence through our past tours,” said Jin-sik. “Now we’re ready to show more dimensions of Xikers.” For their fans—many of whom have been eagerly awaiting the group’s full reunion—the message is simple yet powerful: “We’ll repay you with amazing performances,” the members declared. “Let’s make new memories together.”

With unity restored and their ambition undeterred, Xikers is sprinting into 2025 at full throttle—ready to breathe fire, spark passion, and leave their mark.
